Call for Proposals

On behalf of the SWALL Program Committee, we invite you to submit proposals for the 2026 SWALL Annual Meeting.  

2026 Theme – Harnessing the Winds of Change: Law Libraries Leading the Future

We are looking for programs that cover a wide range of interesting and relevant topics, and we encourage proposals that appeal to the many types of law librarians and information professionals that make up our broad organization. Session lengths range from “Ignite Talks” (~7 mins) to extensive “Deep Dives” (two 45 min sessions with a break), so you can find the format that best fits your program. With the ability to host two simultaneous sessions, the committee is committed to creating a program that has something for everyone each day. We strongly encourage proposals from every library type (especially firm and government law libraries) to help us build an impactful program of diverse ideas and projects. We welcome individual and panel presentations. The winds of change are sweeping across our profession, and presenting at SWALL is a way to lead our profession forward! 

Please submit your program proposal by December 19, 2025, and you will hear back on your proposal in January.

Sponsorship Levels

  • Swag bag sponsor ($250 + optional in-kind item if desired) – Includes the ability to place an in-kind donation in swag bags, allowing a presence without attending/travel. You may also sponsor the swag bags, generally, without including items in which case a sponsorship note will be included in the bags. (multiple available)
  • Bronze $500 – Vendor table, two registrations. (multiple available)
  • Silver $1000 – Breakfast sponsors, includes Bronze benefits and optional 20-minute exclusive demo during one breakfast (2 available).
  • Gold $2000 – Thursday or Friday lunch sponsor, includes Bronze benefits and optional 30-minute exclusive demo during the designated lunch (2 available).
  • Platinum $3000 – Thursday or Friday evening events, includes Bronze benefits and exclusive advertising at designated event with opening remarks.  Depending on the event, the possibility of print or swag advertising at cocktail tables and themed menu items if desired (2 available).  (Events are still TBD)
